About Us
Aussie Youth Care is a registered NDIS service provider. Our aim is to enable everyone with the chance of having a choice. This aim is strived for through strengthening every youth with a voice supported by many as this is what makes a difference in our everyday as a service provider.
This voice will one day be capable of making an even bigger change for the better as we are only here to kickstart the long journey all youth have ahead of them. Our organisation desires to restore the independence and strength which once was abundant through our range of youth disability services.
What is SSRC?
SSRC, a care arrangement specifically designed to offer children support away from their usual homes for three or more nights within a seven-day period. Whether it’s respite care to give parents or caregivers a break, behaviour support tailored to specific needs, or funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to assist children with disabilities, we are here to ensure children receive the care they deserve.
Aussie Youth Care provides both STA as well as RESPITE to support youth in need. We have suitable accommodation to meet the and support for the most challenging cases. Speak to us today on how we can help you with your SSRC needs.
Our Services
We understand how challenging taking care of disabled children or teenagers experiencing difficult times is. We offer solutions to take the pressure off the family and provide a safe environment for children. We offer a wide range of services including respite, special care and emergency placements for children in OOHC
Individualized Support:
We recognize that each individual is unique, and so are their needs. Our team works closely with each participant to create personalized support plans that address specific goals and aspirations.
Community Engagement:
Social inclusion is a key aspect of our approach. We organize various activities, outings, and events that encourage our participants to connect with their peers, build friendships, and actively engage in the community.
Shared Co-Working Spaces
Rainbow Connexion is a specialized school leavers program where youth of all abilities are supported within a co-working space that enables networking as well as active skill development. Ultimately, the aim is to find opportunities for work that is meaningful and aligns with individual skills and talents.
National Disability Insurance Scheme
Australia has around 4.3 million people with disabilities. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) allocates billions annually to over 300,000 Australians with permanent and severe disabilities. It's often the first time many receive the assistance they need. NDIS and service providers offer information on local services, including doctors, sports clubs, community groups, libraries, and schools. The NDIS supports individuals in realizing their dreams by providing resources to live life to its fullest potential.
